Esther (Estee) Leger-Odom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from New York University with her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) in 2007. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, a master’s degree in Urban Studies, and a master’s degree in Theology and Ministry. As a psychotherapist for more than 13 years, Estee has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and couples through outpatient counseling. She is experienced in helping individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, trauma, and low self-esteem. Her passion is to teach others the skills needed to decrease anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. She strives to empower her clients by helping them to identify strengths, improve self-esteem, and develop skills in communication, anger management, relaxation, and mindfulness.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, Estee utilizes a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. She has a genuine concern for the well-being of her clients.
