Psychiatric Evaluation
What is a Psychiatric Evaluation?
A psychiatric evaluation is an assessment of an individual’s mental, biological, and social functioning, based on the person’s present problems and symptoms. The evaluation may result in the diagnosis of a mental health condition, followed by a treatment plan outlining the goals of therapy, which may include psychotherapy, pharmacotherapy (medications), or both. We also offer online psychiatric evaluations for many conditions through our telepsychiatry services. Our goal at Harmony United Psychiatric Care is to help each individual achieve his or her goals for a psychologically healthy and fulfilling life.
